Detail Itinerary

Day 1

On the very first day of your trip, you will experience something truly Nepalese; traditional Nepalese dinner. But rest assured our representatives will be there to pick you up at the airport, help you check in to your hotel and then take you out for dinner.

Day 2

You will spend the second day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon our guides will brief you and help you sort out all the equipment for the trip.

Day 3-4

On this day we are busy for briefing about expedition, documentation and last minute shopping and preparation for departure to the trekking and climbing route. You will be kept in get set position.

Day 5

Drive along the Prithvi Highway to Arughat Bazaar, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding landscape and mountains. But, be ready for some occasional bumps in the road and some really sharp turns!

Day 6

The first trekking day is comparatively easy and the walk between Arughat and Soti Khola takes only 4 hours if you are a really good hiker. Since it is your first day trekking, you can walk leisurely and enjoy the scenery around you.

Day 7

The first trekking day is comparatively easy and the walk between Arughat and Soti Khola takes only 4 hours if you are a really good hiker. Since it is your first day trekking, you can walk leisurely and enjoy the scenery around you.

Day 8

The trail gets a bit strenuous with some steep ascents and descents as you hike to Doban, situated at the confluence of two rivers

Day 9

Walk past some scattered settlements and Gurung communities, enjoying the view of Sringi himal as you make your way to Philim.

Day 10

Trek westwards as you come across some villages practicing Tibetan culture, old houses with Tibetan architecture, Mani walls, chortens and fields of buckwheat and barley.

Day 11

Cross a small river also know as the Therang Khola as you walk past a waterfall, stop for lunch at Lho (3180m) and climb further up to Sama.

Day 12

Explore the surrounding villages and monasteries or visit the Birendra Kund Lake

Day 13

Short and steep hike to Manaslu Base Camp.

Day 14

Explore the surrounding villages and monasteries or visit the Birendra Kund lake.

Day 15-37

Walk past yak pastures along a trail parallel with the Budi Gandaki river, enjoying splendid views of Mt. Manaslu as you make your way to Samdo, a Tibetan refugee settlement with some 50-60 houses.

Day 38

The trail first descends to the Gyala Khola River, crossing the bridge before climbing again to Larkey Phedi. In between enjoy the mountain vistas, especially the views of Larkye Peak and the North Face of Mt. Manaslu.

Day 39

Hiking to the Larkye Pass is hard work, because you wake up really early in the morning to hike across a rugged path which is covered with snow during winter. More than the path, the altitude can make the hike difficult because you climb more than 1500 meters until the pass and descend back another 1500 meters.

Day 40

Today the trail drops down steeply through forests of rhododendron and pine to Tilje. From Tilje you can see an excellent view of the West Face of Mt. Manaslu if the weather is fine.

Day 41

Walk along a trail parallel with the Marsyangdi River, passing several villages and enjoying the scenery around.

Day 42

The last hiking day is quite pleasant because the trail between Sirichaur and Besisahar is mostly ‘Nepali’ flat and the scenery is very beautiful. A 4X4 will be waiting for you in Besisahar to take you back to Kathmandu.

Day 43

An entire day in Kathmandu for yourself. Eat as much as you want, go shopping or do nothing at all!

Day 44-45

On this day, you head to the thamel for shopping and preparation.

Day 46

Again our representatives will be there to transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell.
