Day 01
After clearing the immigrations and collecting your bags, you will need to come out and look for the sign Icefall Adventures. Our representative will greet you and take you to the hotel. In the evening, we will take you to a traditional Nepali restaurant for welcome dinner.
Day 02
You will spend the second day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon our guides will brief you and help you sort out all the equipment for the trip.
Day 03
Early in the morning after having breakfast drive to Jiri which is situated just 188km away from Kathmandu. The way to Jiri passes through the beautiful hills densely forested with pines and offers the distant mountain views. Though the road is narrow it is well pitched. It takes 9 hours to reach Jiri.
Day 04
We will start the trek with a climb to a ride top at 2400m and the trail descends to Shivalaya. Shivalaya is a small village settled by Tamang and Newar ethnic community near the bank of Shivalaya River. It takes 4 hours to reach the Shivalaya. Stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 05
On this day, continuous walk of three hours, reach Bhandar. We will climb to Deurali which a small village is offering the beautiful vista of Dudh Kunda Himal, Khatanga, Karylung and Pikey. It is a small village having two stupas and a monastery. Stay overnight at tea house or lodge.
Day 06
The trail goes down for one hour which brings us to Likhu Khola, boundary of Solukhumbu district and Sagarmatha zone. We should cross the river and after reaching Namkheli, offers the fine view of Numbur Himal. After walking 4-5 hours, we will reach Namkheli. Stay overnight at Tea house or lodge.
Day 07
From Namkhile a 7-8 hour of continuous walk through the Rhododendron forest takes us to the beautiful village of Nagur, passing small authentic Sherpa village of Golla. Nagur is situated in the hilltop. From Nagur one can see the amazing mountain vista of Gaurishankar and Numbur Himal. Overall Nagur has six houses and a small monastery. Stay overnight at camp.
Day 08
Early in the morning hike to the top of Pike to witness the magical view of Sunrise over the world’s highest mountains like Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Kanchanjunga, Gaurishankar, Rolwaling Himalayan range , Langtang Himalayan range along with many others. The ascent takes three hours and descends from Pikey peak needs two hours.
Day 09
On this day, you will trek down to Japre and you can see the beautiful view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Number and Mt Dudhkuna. Visit monasteries in this place. Stay overnight at lodge or tea house or tents.
Day 10
Trek down to Patale and in this place you can see the Sherpa culture and tradition. On every Friday there is a local market where all the Sherpa people come in this place for selling and buying the local product. Overnight stay at tea house or lodge or tents.
Day 11
Full exploration day at patale. You can go for a hike on the top to see the beautiful view of mountains and valleys.
Day 12
On this day, the treks will take you to step down and step up. You can see local house, Sherpa culture and tradition and their life style.
Day 13
This is last day of the trek and you can enjoy exploring the local market. Overnight at tea house or lodge.
Day 14
Flight from Phaplu to Kathmandu takes 25 minutes. Rest of the day; go for shopping or sightseeing if you are interested in visiting some places. In the evening, we will take you for farewell dinner at restaurant.
Day 15
Again our representatives will be there to transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell.
