Day 01
On the very first day of your trip, you will experience something truly Nepalese; traditional Nepalese dinner. But rest assured our representatives will be there to pick you up at the airport, help you check in to your hotel and then take you out for dinner.
Day 02
You will spend the second day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon our guides will brief you and help you sort out all the equipment for the trip.
Day 03
We fly on towards our destination where we begin our trek into the High Solu area. We will reach the phaplu airport viewing the beautiful slopes, steep and traces farming. We start very few treks from Phaplu and it’s a small village, it takes 35 minutes by plane. When you get down from plane, you can see a amazing view of Sherpa town and Numbur/Khatang/Kerolung. See the local market in Salleri and visit local monasteries. Visit Chilsa monastery.
Day 04
The trail leads you along with a pine tree, River bank and gives a chance to view steep and sloppy hills. As large numbers of Sherpa people live in Solukhumbu, therefore it is popularly known as Sherpa village Junebesi.
Day 05
You can hang around or visit Thubten Chholing Monastery known as Nunnery Monastery. Take your opportunity to observe wildlife and vegetation on the way. Visit Thuptenchholing monastery and also observe traditional Tibetan medicinal therapy at Thuptenchholing. Visit Phunmoche monastery and meditation cave.
Day 06
The trail will take you to cross the bridge over the Junbesi Khola. It takes approx 2 hours to reach Phurtung. The beginning of your trek is gently ascent for Phurtung. From this place, you could see first view of Mount Everest including Thamserku (6623m.), Kantega (6780m.), Kusum Kangaru (6370m.) and Mera Peak (6650m.)
Day 07
You can see the magnificent view of Numbur (6,959m), at the head of the Dudhkund Khola valley. You can see the Sherpa culture on the way to Ringmu and see the amazing view on the way to Ringmu.
Day 08
Your trek is immediately; your trail is steeply up for one and half hours to the Taksindu La Pass (3100m.) From this point, you could see excellent mountain views. Thamserku (6623m.), Kantega (6780m.), Kusum Kangaru (6370m.) and Mera Peak (6650m.) There is an old Monastery for visiting and come back to Ringmu. It will take 4 hours to pass the Taksindu Monastery. Taksindu Monastery was founded in 1946 by Lama Chuldim of Tengboche. He was joined by other monks living in remote parts of Khumbu, who wished to return to live in Solu, nearer to their home villages. Like the other monasteries in the region, it is a Nyingma Pa 'Red Hat' Buddhist monastery. A little lower is the Mountain View Lodge, run by the monastery.
Day 09
We walk through mixed alpine forests and figure out the Sherpa settlement explore the culture. Watch cultural show which will be performed on request.
Day 10
Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu. You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu
Day 11
You are free for leisure time and you can go for shopping and explore Thamel area. This evening we will meet you for the final farewell dinner where you will have one last opportunity to share a meal and conversation with your new friends and tell us all about your adventures. We will then transfer you back to your hotel for your last night in Nepal.
Day 12
Again our representatives will be there to transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell.
