Annapurna Region
The Annapurna Conservation Area is one of the best hiking regions in the world. It is a region offering hikers of all ages and experiences a variety of hiking destinations and possibilities. The 7,629 sq. km protected land is home to several world class trekking trails, including the world famous Annapurna Circuit. Besides the Annapurna Circuit, the trek to Jomsom-Muktinath and Annapurna Sanctuary (Base Camp) are popular 2-3 week hikes in this region. For hikers who prefer a shorter and easier walking adventure, this region offers a 3-4 days hikes to Ghorepani and Poon Hill.
