Detail Itinerary

Day 1

On the very first day of your trip, you will experience something truly Nepalese; traditional Nepalese dinner. But rest assured our representatives will be there to pick you up at the airport, help you check in to your hotel and then take you out for dinner.

Day 2

You will spend the second day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon our guides will brief you and help you sort out all the equipment for the trip.

Day 3

Sundarijal is an hours ride from Kathmandu and is the starting point for our trek. Today’s destination is Chisopani which is a 600 meter ascent from Sundarijal. The trail starts with a steep set of stone stairs, levelling up to some terraced fields and then ascends up a hill into the woods before you arrive in Chisopani.

Day 4

From Chisopani the hike is mostly downhill and flat past some terraced fields and meadows until Gul Bhanjyang. After briefly stopping for lunch here, we make an ascent to another pass and from thereon the trail again descends to Kutumsang.

Day 5

On your way to Tharepati you’ll see some spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the valleys below you. Tharepati itself is a great spot to catch a panoramic view of the snow capped peaks overlooking the village.

Day 6

From Tharepati the trail first drops gently through a forest, crosses several bridges and then drops steeply until it crosses a river. From there the trail climbs steeply until Tarke Gyang, an ancient village with a buddhist monastery and traces of Tibetan influence.

Day 7

Walking is quite pleasant today because the trail between Tarke Gyang and Sermathang is mostly ‘Nepali’ flat and the scenery is very beautiful, passing villages, farmlands, streams and waterfalls.

Day 8

The descent to Melamchi Pul Bazaar is very exhausting because the trail drops a staggering 1700 meters. After a long day of descent you’ll arrive in Melamchi Pul Bazaar early in the evening and a 4X4 will be waiting for you in there to take you back to Kathmandu.

Day 9

An entire day in Kathmandu for yourself. Eat as much as you want, go shopping or do nothing at all! If you’re not trek weary, we’ll take you to the Last Resort for an adrenaline pumping bungee jumping adventure.

Day 10

Again our representatives will be there to transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell.
