Detail Itinerary

Day 1

On the very first day of your trip, you will experience something truly Nepalese; traditional Nepalese dinner. But rest assured our representatives will be there to pick you up at the airport, help you check in to your hotel and then take you out for dinner.

Day 2

You will spend the second day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon our guides will brief you and help you sort out all the equipment for the trip.

Day 3

On this day, we are busy for briefing about expedition, documentation and last minute shopping and preparation for departure to the trekking and climbing route. You will be kept in get set position.

Day 4

The flight to Lukla is one adventurous ride that you’re never going to forget. The flight is only 25 minutes long and you get so immersed in the view outside the airplane window that the flight will seem too short. However, do expect occasional bumps during your flight and sit tight when you’re about to land in the world’s most dangerous airport. The first trekking day is comparatively easy and the walk between Lukla and Phakding takes only 3 hours if you are a really good hiker. Since it is your first day trekking, you can walk leisurely and enjoy the scenery around you.

Day 5

The strenuous part of the trek begins today and the trail is mostly uphill after you cross Jorsale. The ascent never stops until you reach Namche after climbing a tiring 700 meters! The hike to Namche is infact one of the more difficult trekking days during the entire trek.

Day 6

While most trekkers headed to Everest Base Camp choose to spend an extra day for acclimatization in Namche, our itinerary takes you on an acclimatization hike to Kunde, Khumjung and ends in Kyang Juma.

Day 7

On this day, you will climb uphill with the beautiful mountains views. The trail is steep up and side by side walk along the rhododendron forest and down to the river side.

Day 8

The landscape starts changing and it becomes more barren and dusty as you hike to Dingboche. After you cross a small bridge across the Khumbu Khola, the path forks. While some trekkers choose to follow the left fork and go to Pheriche, we’ll be going to Dingboche instead.

Day 9

Staying in Dingboche gives you an opportunity to climb the Dingboche Ri (5075m) the next day. Although it can be quite challenging, climbing the Dingboche Ri helps you in acclimatization and the view from the top is something worth the effort.

Day 10

Although the distance between Dingboche and Lobuche is not much, walking becomes quite difficult because of the vertical gain. On your way you’ll pass a memorial for climbers and expedition teams who lost their lives in their attempt to conquer Everest.

Day 11

Head out early to Gorakshep, stop for lunch and then hike to Everest Base Camp. The walk to Everest Base Camp is quite tiring and for some people ‘boring’. If you wish to see Everest from the base camp, you may be disappointed but if you want to see a landscape entirely different hiking to the base camp is worthwhile.

Day 12

The hike up to Kalapathar is difficult because of the vertical gain in altitude and decreasing oxygen levels. However, if you’re well acclimatised the ascent is not more than two hours and the descent is quite easy. You can choose to climb this hill early morning before sunrise, or, after lunch when it is warmer.

Day 13

Start early to cross the Kongma La Pass (5,535m) and descend to the Imja Khola valley to reach Chhukung, a small settlement.

Day 14

The path is mostly steep throughout the entire trail. An early start makes sure you arrive at the Base Camp for lunch. After lunch your guides will provide training on how to use your gears for while making an attempt for the summit.

Day 15

Hike to Island Peak High Camp (2-3hrs) and set up camp. After you set up camp your guides will help you prepare for tomorrow’s attempt for the summit.

Day 16

Start early to reach the summit of Lobuche East (6,189m) and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Cholatse and Pumori among others.

Day 17

On this day, you will climb downhill with the beautiful mountains views. The trail is steep up and side by side walk along the rhododendron forest and down to the river side.

Day 18

Start early, stop at Namche Bazaar for lunch and walk mostly downhill to Monjo. You will be amazed to see how short the descent is and will surely remember the day you struggled to climb up to Namche.

Day 19

More downhill walking and some ascents will take you to Lukla, where you can celebrate your successful trek, get a chilled beer in one of the pubs or treat yourself to something sweet at the German bakery outside the airport.

Day 20

An early morning flight will take you to Kathmandu and you have the entire day for yourself. Eat as much as you want, go shopping or do nothing at all!

Day 21

On this day, you head to the thamel for shopping and preparation.

Day 22

Again our representatives will be there to transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell.
