Detail Itinerary

Day 1

On the very first day of your trip, you will experience something truly Nepalese; traditional Nepalese dinner. But rest assured our representatives will be there to pick you up at the airport, help you check in to your hotel and then take you out for dinner.

Day 2

You will spend the second day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon our guides will brief you and help you sort out any essential items for your trip.

Day 3

You’ll be picked up from your hotel by our representatives who’ll transfer you to the airport and help you board your scenic flight to Paro.

Day 4

The first day is quite easy - the trail climbs gradually up to the Jele La Pass (3,400m) before you arrive in Jele Dzong to set up camp.

Day 5

The trail continues climbing up through alpine and rhododendron forests before reaching a saddle at 3,590m. From there you can you’ll see panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Mount Chomolhari (7,314m).

Day 6

The trail continues along the ridge to another pass, the Jangchu La (4,180m). Today you’ll camp beside the Jimilang Tsho Lake which is famous for its giant trout fish.

Day 7

Another day of hiking across rhododendron forests and trout lakes and a few ups and downs before making a deep descent to camp beside the Simkota Tsho lake.

Day 8

The trail gradually climbs up to Phume La Pass (4,210m) before descending to Phajoding Goemba(3,870m). On the way you’ll pass Thujidrag Goemba, a meditation center built on the side of a rock face.

Day 9

An entire day of descent through mostly forested areas. Halfway to Thimphu you’ll be collected by our representatives who will help you check in to your hotel in the city.

Day 10

Full day sightseeing tour of the capital city - visit Paro Taktsang,Tashichho Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Drukgyal Dzong, Dechen Phodrang Monastery and Gangtey Gompa.

Day 11

Drive back to the Paro Airport to catch a flight back to Kathmandu. You can spend the rest of the day strolling around the eateries and souvenir shops of Thamel.

Day 12

An entire day in Kathmandu for yourself. Eat as much as you want, go shopping or do nothing at all! If you’re not travel weary, we’ll take you to the Last Resort for an adrenaline pumping bungee jumping adventure.

Day 13

Again our representatives will be there to transfer you to the airport and bid you farewell.
